Roma – Chris Smalling told of Manchester United’s bad treatment to him before moving to AS Roma. The 30-year-old is frustrated that United didn’t tell him the club’s plans for the 2020/2021 season.

Smalling was then in an obscure position in United’s squad. In the end, he officially became a Roma player on the last day of the transfer window after being purchased for 15 million euros.
“I thought maybe that was the lowest point in my career at United,” Smalling told the Telegraph.

“I’m just a little frustrated,” said the 30-year-old.

Manchester United did not want to let Chris Smalling go to AS Roma on the pretext of an inappropriate price. Meanwhile, Solskjaer, in front of the media, said that there was still a chance for Smalling to enter United’s first team.
